One of the most difficult shots in cricket is the on drive.
More often than not you will see batsmen being hit on the pad, missing the ball, or if they do make contact, flicking the ball in the air on the leg side.
The reason for this is simply they have not or cannot get their head into line and over the ball.

Remember -- if your child's head is in the correct position, he/she will be able to hit the ball pretty much anywhere with great timing.
If it’s not in the correct position, they will be limited to hitting the ball to where their hands naturally go.
And a good captain will pick this up and put a fielder in that area, preventing them from scoring any runs there, creating more pressure for the batsman.
