Something a little different this week.
An 8 and a half minute composition inspired by, yep, you’ve guessed it, the mighty Vangelis, and in particular his soundtrack for Blade Runner 1982.
(I know it’s untouchable, but this is my tribute, if you will.)
Building from soft to epic and back again, the arrangement features synth pads, orchestral drums and percussion, synth bass, ethereal voices, piano and SFX, with an obligatory backdrop of rain!
I’ve used a combination of VST’s; Omnisphere, SynthMaster, East West’s Hollywood Fantasy Collection and Forbidden Planet, and for the Guzheng, Koto and Dizi, some patches from RA and Silk.
