Etienne Charles—the Trinidadian-born trumpeter, composer, and bandleader—took the stage with his dynamic Creole Soul project, blending jazz with the rich rhythms and stories of the Caribbean diaspora.

Backed by a stellar septet, Charles delivered a soulful, high-energy set exploring his Afro-Caribbean roots through original compositions and reimagined classics. From calypso to reggae to New Orleans second line, this performance captures the vibrant spirit of Creole Soul and the communal joy of live music in the open air.
