Lord Bafford's Manor is probably THE most exemplary mission in the entire Thief series: A nobleman's manor, a special object to steal, in and out without raising any concern among the guards. No wonder it's the first real mission after the tutorial - it contains just about everything the series stands for in a manageable extend for a great start so it makes perfect sense that it also was the original demo version mission.

Play- and walkthrough of Mission 2 "Lord Bafford's Manor" of the 1998 stealth-action grandfather Thief: The Dark Project in the Thief Gold version with TFix and the HD Mod 1.2 on the highest difficulty "Expert".

I'm playing more or less rapid but not even close to speed-running, mostly as ghost but if someone stands between me and my loot and can't be avoided I won't hesitate to knock him out but no human was seriously harmed during production of this video. However, that doesn't count for undeads, burricks, spiders and other nonhumans... in any case I think the video series works very well as a walkthrough and at the same time as "just for watching" a full playthrough including story without aimless wandering.

Thief Gold is available on Steam and GOG. TFix (primarily for running smooth on modern systems) and the HD Texture Mod 1.2 are available on moddb.com.
