When installing aftermarket parts in a vehicle, it is extremely important to understand the systems you are working with. It is also important to understand that you may cause problems inadvertently while performing any modifications to modern vehicles. Sometimes, this can be costly. I do not recommend ever modifying systems, especially with aftermarklet parts, in these vehicles because of the high potential for the component to cause problems, or the installer himself damaging things.
