Next week, we'll be back to ordinary video topics, but every once in a while it's fun to do an actual racing video. I've wanted to host an event like this for a long while now, and we finally have a game with enough tracks to really make it work. In a community full of people who sometimes take themselves too seriously, sometimes themed events like this are a nice change of pace, and perhaps can make our community more inviting to those on the outsides. Besides, it has been a theme of my recent videos that we should try to expand our track pools to begin with :)

If you are interested in trying this out, we plan to host a MK7 event this Friday and a MKWii event the week after! I am not sure if each event will get an upload, but I do plan to stream them over on my Twitch:   / rookie006
