For more information on general aspects, performance tests and even some comparisons with other similar Lenovo equipment, I suggest you visit the @longrhino channel who has made an exceptional video of the P16 Gen 2. I thank him for his review, his comparison , and all the answers he gave to those who had some doubts. It helped me a lot to decide once and for all and invest in this device.
About me and the P16 Gen 2:
I bought this workstation to replace my previous laptop, the ASUS ROG Strix G16 Gaming Laptop (2023), which I bought in April. For several years I have had different Asus laptops, always ROG models and this is the first time I have been very disappointed with an Asus product, about this, I could leave more information in a comment.

This is my second Lenovo Thinkpad, before the Asus I had a T15g Gen1.
I am not a game player. I am an author and music producer. As well as a novice film-maker/photographer.
Among my needs are a high end processor and a mid-level graphics card, 32GB of RAM or more to be able to run music and video/photo editing software smoothly. I also require a good number of ports to connect music/audio interfaces, several external drives, monitors, etc.
After 18 years of using desktop computers as my main workstation, always using laptops as secondary equipment for travel, this year I switched to using a laptop as my main equipment.
I got tired of not being able to move easily with all my projects and recording sessions. Today it is much more achievable due to the high performance of laptops and the speed of the Internet to use files in the cloud.
I know that many people have been doing it for years, but I have been that collector type person, who saves all the information from his first day in front of a PC and who until 2023 was very reluctant to leave the security of a desktop PC and using a ton of disks in RAID 1.
