All you need is to set it on easy, die and get Carbuncles Ruby Light buff, Ignis's Enhancement (all three elements if possible) and the Ragnarok sword to warp strike the body. If done right each warp strike does 9999 damage and it will take down this boss super fast.
After fighting him 25 times since the last V2 drop I finally have number 5 :-)
