Rose Curtis was surprised by her son David who presented her with her Six Star Medal after both completed their Six Star Journey at the New York City Marathon.
The pair overcame stifling heat in Berlin to achieve their fifth star and just months later earned their Six Star Medal in Central Park.
David finished his run more an hour before his mother and waited to surprise her in the Six Star tent.
