For nearly 2 years I've been using my weapon mounted NODs...a lot. Sure it's part of TNP ongoing testing but also, as discussed, it's just part of necessary land pest management. And in doing so I've made more than a few mistakes running the AGM night vision sighting devices like their Neith and Rattler series. These are excellent NODs, make no mistake, but they do possess a few pitfalls discussed here. These are inherent in all NODs with current technology. These sights provide xlnt nigh capabilities but they are in need of interface/ergonomic improvements also.

Ten points of "NOD experiential learning" are delivered in this Nutnfancy Systems Philosophy video. You see it's hard to get experience in using these things mounted on an AR15...you just don't go to a range get your NOD experience. It has to be done in-field in a wide variety of dirt conditions, under time pressure to make the shots, and in a wide variety of temps. Maybe these F ups I've done will give you a head start, both for pest control, patrol use, and general WROL necessity. I will go over my AR15 NOD and backup sight system as well.
