Fluffy rainbow cat amigurumi crochet tutorial

Hello, it's Thursday! This week we are taking a weird left turn away from what you might expect, and in celebration of pride month, I'm going to show you how to make the ultimate fluffy rainbow crochet kitten.
Though really this pattern can also make an adorable fluffy puppy too.

US terminology used
All pieces are worked in a continuous spiral unless otherwise indicated.

Stitch Glossary:
ch: “Chain” - yarn over, pull through only loop.
sc: “Single crochet” - Insert hook, yarn over, pull up loop, yarn over, pull through both loops on hook.
inc: “Increase” - Complete two single crochets into the same stitch, one after the other.
dec: “Decrease over two stitches”- Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up loop. Insert hook into next stitch, yarn over, pull up loop. Yarn over a third time, and pull through all three loops on hook.

Pattern notation
x[…] Repeat the instructions between the square brackets ‘x’ times.
(…) The total numbers of stitches in the row/round
{...} Used to indicate front or back post stitches, and colours.
