The Tropics from Liverpool went into Percy Phillips Studio in 1961 / 1962 and recorded this Johnny Cash song. Written by Johnny, it was a hit for him in 1959. Singer Billy Cox was and still is a big Johnny Cash fan. Unfortunately we lost Albert in Sep 1997 and George in Jan 2021 and the rest of us are not getting any younger. Very sad to report another member Bill left us at the end of Nov last year 2024.
