Initially released in 1950 as the B10 Berlina sedan, the Lancia Aurelia was produced from 1950 to the summer of 1958 and offered various body styles, including a 4-door saloon, 2-door GT coupé (B20), 2-door spider/convertible (B24), and a custom-bodied chassis by external coachbuilders. This iconic model is renowned for being the first production car to feature a V6 engine, revolutionizing automotive engineering. Throughout its production, it showcased several additional technical advancements and became synonymous with Lancia's commitment to innovation.

With a power output of 112 BHP at 5,000 RPM and notable mechanical features such as a 4-speed manual transaxle, 4-wheel hydraulic drum brakes, front independent sliding-pillar suspension, and rear de Dion suspension with semi-elliptical leaf springs, the Lancia Aurelia delivers impeccable road handling and achieves a top speed of 112 mph. Notably, the model achieved remarkable success in renowned racing events with a second-place finish in the 1951 Mille Miglia, followed by victories such as a stunning 1-2-3 finish at the 1952 Targa Florio and a high-profile win at the Liege-Rome-Liege Rally in 1953. The showcased 1958 Lancia Aurelia B20 GT coupe here is a late-production Series 6 variant, distinguished by its roll-up windows, enhanced sound deadening, and triangular quarter vent windows.
