As Heathrow’s largest shareholder, with our stake increasing to 32.6% in July 2025, we at Ardian are deepening our long-term commitment to one of the world’s most strategic aviation hubs.

Heathrow is not only Europe’s largest airport, but also the most globally connected, serving over 200 destinations and employing more than 80,000 people. In 2024 alone, it welcomed nearly 84 million passengers—a testament to its central role in global mobility and the UK economy.

In this video, Juan Angoitia, Co-Head of Infrastructure Europe and Senior Managing Director, is joined by Alexis Ballif, Managing Director, Infrastructure -Transport at Ardian, and William Briggs, Managing Director, Infrastructure, at the heart of Heathrow.
