WW2 historians James Holland and Al Murray visit the Hartenstein Hotel, the historic Divisional HQ of the British Airborne during the Battle of Arnhem in September 1944. As command structures crumbled, this building witnessed the failed objectives, in-fighting, and Urquhart's final retreat plan across the Rhine. Now the Airborne Museum in Oosterbeek, the Hartenstein granted access to Walking The Ground, showcasing their incredible exhibits—including an underground recreation of the battle. Before leaving (after grabbing a Pegasus pin from the gift shop, of course) James and Al stop by a 17-Pound gun to discuss its close-combat limitations and how its presence in Arhem at all challenges a long-held myth about German tanks in Arnhem.
