Stepping into the scenic area of Leshan Giant Buddha and Oriental Buddha Capital is like entering a sacred world carved from stone. A cool breeze carries a faint scent of incense, guiding you along ancient stone steps that wind through green mountains, where towering Buddha statues stand silently, witnessing the passage of time. As the world’s largest cliff-carved Buddha statue, Leshan Giant Buddha complements the densely distributed Buddha figures in Oriental Buddha Capital, creating a soul-stirring journey that combines natural scenery with religious art.

The core landscape is the "dual sacred realm of one giant Buddha and a thousand Buddhas": Leshan Giant Buddha and Oriental Buddha Capital are adjacent to each other, jointly forming this world-renowned Buddhist cultural scenic spot. Perched on the cliff at the confluence of the Minjiang, Qingyi, and Dadu Rivers, Leshan Giant Buddha is undoubtedly the highlight—its total height of 71 meters makes the nearby pine trees look as small as shrubs. When tourists stand on its shoulders (a classic viewing spot), they appear as "tiny figures" against the grand Buddha body, vividly demonstrating its unparalleled scale. Tucked away in the back mountains, Oriental Buddha Capital is worthy of being called a "stone Buddha museum": over 10,000 Buddha statues of different sizes and styles are carved on cliffs and in grottoes, ranging from lifelike arhat statues to solemn Buddha heads. Every detail showcases the exquisite craftsmanship of ancient artisans. At the junction of the two scenic areas, the bell chimes from nearby temples blend with the soft chatter of tourists, painting a vivid picture of "the integration of sacredness and daily life".

The integration of natural grandeur and human craftsmanship is the biggest highlight of this tour—green vines twist around the stone robes of the Buddha statues, white clouds drift slowly above the Buddha’s head, pilgrims kneel piously in front of the statues, photographers crouch on the stone steps to capture the perfect angle of the giant Buddha, and the fresh mountain air is mixed with a faint scent of incense from the prayer halls. These elements interweave to vividly show how Buddhist culture thrives in the beauty of nature on this sunny day in September.

During the tour, you will see the following scenes:

• The majestic posture of Leshan Giant Buddha standing by the river: On its 14.7-meter-high head, the patterns of spiral hair curls are clearly distinguishable; on its 24-meter-wide shoulders, tourists stop to take photos (further highlighting the Buddha’s grandeur); its 7-meter-long ears can fit two adults standing side by side, and every stone texture on the robe is clearly visible.

• Tourists walking slowly along the "Nine-Bend Plank Road" around Leshan Giant Buddha: Some pause to touch the Buddha’s stone feet (a traditional blessing ritual), while others lean against the cliff railings to overlook the surging river below.

• Monks in kasaya walking slowly in Oriental Buddha Capital, occasionally stopping to explain the stories behind the arhat statues to visitors in a gentle and solemn tone.

• Exquisite stone carvings in the grottoes of Oriental Buddha Capital: the delicate folds of the Buddha’s robes, the serene expressions on the Bodhisattvas’ faces, and even the tiny patterns on the arhats’ chests—all well-preserved despite years of weathering.

• At the stalls at the exit of the scenic area, the golden and crispy Leshan specialty "sanxian tofu" (tofu with three delicacies) steams, its fragrant aroma attracting tourists to stop and taste it.

• Details under 4K high definition: the rough texture of the giant Buddha’s stone surface, the delicate carvings on the hands of small Buddha statues, dewdrops on the leaves around the statues, and the ripples on the river reflecting the Buddha’s silhouette.
