This presentation helps public servants identify and understand common issues that may arise concerning compliance with the Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics. The course specifically discusses issues concerning restrictions on compensation and gifts from prohibited sources, prohibited participation and transactions involving a public servant's agency, and compliance with annual ethics training requirements. The presentation will also discuss the role of the Board of Ethics in providing guidance on and regulating compliance with the Code of Governmental Ethics.
