After visiting several different Eco-villages in the US, I definitely believe these new and inventive ways of living in community is a positive solution for many of our current problems on our planet - they integrate a more harmonious way of living and giving back to the planet, while opening space for community support, self-governance, creativity, emotional-well being, cooperative communication and sharing of goods and resources... This footage is from the Earth Haven Eco-Village, located near Ashville, NC. This community is 329 acres with around 80 members (including families) there are several gardens and an edible plant nursery ~ Earth Haven is also completely off-grid and what they've done with the land is incredibly beautiful!
