Hello everyone!
Today's video shows a walking tour of the Christmas Market in central Frankfurt.
We will start our journey at Hauptwache and then proceed to Rossmarkt.
Along the way we will observe what is happening around us.
We see many kiosks with Christmas-themed paraphernalia, offering various sweets: traditional Liebkuchen, roasted almonds, pretzels and the famous Frankfurt sausages.
The aroma of Gluhwein is adjacent to the aroma of roasted popcorn.
Garlands of lights, music and carousels, a Christmas tree in festive decoration - all this creates a feeling and atmosphere of celebration.
Rossmarkt, a square that has historically served as a marketplace for famous horse breeds, still maintains its traditions today.
Most of the festive events and festivals take place at Rossmarkt.
The Frankfurt Christmas Market, along with the Römerberg and Paulsplatz, also takes place here at Rossmarkt.
