This is a quick tutorial on how to get secure boot working for battlefield 6.
If you're getting the Secure Boot error, this quick and easy tutorial will show you exactly how to enable Secure Boot in your BIOS/UEFI settings so you can jump back into the game without any issues.
✅ How to Enable Secure Boot (for Battlefield 6 or any game)
🔧 Step 1: Enter BIOS/UEFI
Restart your PC.
As it boots, press the key to enter BIOS/UEFI (usually F2, DEL, ESC, or F10 — it depends on your motherboard or laptop brand).
If you're not sure, search “how to enter BIOS [your PC brand]”.
🔧 Step 2: Enable UEFI Mode
In the BIOS, look for Boot Mode or Boot Configuration.
Set it to UEFI (not Legacy or CSM).
Save changes and reboot back into BIOS.
🔧 Step 3: Enable Secure Boot
Find the Secure Boot setting (often under Security, Boot, or Authentication tab).
Set Secure Boot to Enabled.
If the option is greyed out, make sure you're in UEFI mode and have a GPT disk.
Save and exit BIOS (usually F10).
If your PC won't boot after enabling secure boot it's probably in the wrong format. ( MBR and it needs to be in GPT)
Backup or Move your data to some place safe.
There's two ways to do this;
1. In Disk Management (diskmgmt.msc) running as Administrator, right click on the disk and Convert to GPT.
2. The other way is through the Command Prompt, running as Administrator.
2a. Two commands to run
1. mbr2gpt /validate /allowFullOS
2. mbr2gpt /convert /allowFullOS
