On Swedish National Day, jazzy hip-hop sensations came to Beijing to perform at their nation’s embassy. Bringing new zest to the genre by mining the past, Movits! has a unique sound that is anchored in time-honored tradition while at the same time breaking boundaries. Their energetic live show unfortunately has never made it past the velvet rope of official visits, but will they be able to “move it” out into the city to a local live venue in China?
