Brian David Steckel - The Self-Proclaimed "Driftwood Killer"

Hello and Happy Tuesday to you all!! I am so glad I was able to edit and post this video on time, woo!🥳 Been super busy so I wasn’t even able to start editing this until this past Friday, lol.
Anyway, let’s talk about today’s case, which is an especially sad one. Today, we’ll be discussing Brian David Steckel who knocked on Sandra Long’s apartment door and strangled & assaulted her. He then set her apartment on fire while Sandra was still alive. She perished in the fire and it didn’t take long for Brian to appear on police’s radar when he called the local newspaper, proclaiming himself “The Driftwood Killer”. This was an especially interesting case to research because this case had a significant role in how the state of Delaware abolished their death penalty.
