0istins Fish Fry BARBADOS, An Authentic Experience.

Oistins is an active fishing town on the south coast of Barbados and is a hub of activity on weekend nights, especially Friday Nights.

We highly recommend you skip the busy time period and avoid a hungry stomach by getting there as early as 5:00pm. Take a stroll in enjoy the views, order your meal, eat and still be in time for the sunset on the Jetty.

The food is the main draw - excellent fish, (tuna, swordfish, marlin, mahi-mahi, flying fish), lobster, chicken, etc freshly cooked and served right before your eyes. This rustic yet culturally enriched setting makes for a night out where you are able to immerse yourself in the culture with the people of Barbados. You can get your fish grilled or fried depending on which vendor you choose from.

A plate of fish (and there’s plenty of fish on it) and a beer will cost you about BDS $40 - $50 (US$ 20 - 25). No worries the servings are so large you may just have some for the next day.
