Ran the Audi VGT Gr.1 at Daytona Road Course on Racing Hards for the full race and brought it home P4.
The Audi has plenty of pace and braking confidence, and moving through traffic wasn’t the problem. The challenge was strategy and efficiency at Fuel 10x — finding the balance between pushing when it mattered and not over-managing the car lap to lap.
Running hards simplified the race:
• Stable performance across stints
• Clean one-stop strategy
• Less guesswork, more consistency
Daytona Road Course rewards momentum and clean exits, and this race was about staying disciplined rather than forcing lap time. Still refining how to get the most out of the Audi here, but this was a solid result and a good step forward.
Finished P4.
I’m thinking a different vehicle will bring better results.
