This short film takes the viewer on a fictional day out in the Yorkshire Wolds, setting off from the east coast at North Landing and ending the day crossing south over the iconic Humber Bridge. There are familiar landmarks and places, such as the Tatton Sykes Memorial, dry chalk valleys and Millington Woods plus lesser-known spots, including the Fairy Stones near Thixendale, mill pond at Little Driffield and Gypsey Race at Kirby Grindalythe. If you love the Wolds and want to enjoy the scenery from home, or are discovering the landscape for the first time, this film is for you.
Funded by Arts Council England through the Humber Museums Partnership. A long-standing collaboration between museum services in Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire, and North Lincolnshire.
