First Time Moto-Camping On My Harley-Davidson Motorcycle! How Was It?

It was an unusually hot day in late June in West Virginia. The temperature reached 100 degrees, but I wasn't going to let that stop me from my planned moto-camping trip on my new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. This was my second day on the road traveling alone as I made my way North to Nova Scotia. I made the last-minute decision to postpone my road trip to Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona due to the extreme heat advisory, which warned that temperatures would exceed 100 degrees. So I decided to ride north to escape the extreme heat. To my surprise, the weather wasn't any cooler; in fact, on my way to Canada, passing through New Jersey, my motorcycle's outside temperature gauge read 105 degrees. It wasn't the best weather to moto-camp for the first time, but my excitement to try my new camping equipment and my thirst for adventure helped me push past the heat and give it a try.
