Hey everyone and I’m back with the return to Hudson Yards. After going through the pack of fans while going to Main St, the Mets vs Phillies game was just starting as I made my way back home. And let’s just say, Mets fans got a treat on this afternoon. With how well they’ve been playing since acquiring Juan Soto from the Yankees, the Mets could make a deep playoff run, time will tell. And with how solid the Yankees have been doing lately too, it’s looking terrific in both the National League and American League divisions for us. In regards to this journey, it was the last ride I took until May 19 as that’s when the (A) Train Shutdown was lifted. And you’ll notice how 103 St, 69 St and 52 St are in their old form. Well that’s because there was a little gap between the completion of 111 St and 82 St and the start of the other three stations. Also, the Flushing Bound platform at 61 St has completed renovations for the most part and now construction has begun on the Manhattan Bound platform as we speak currently. And because the Manhattan Bound platforms have begun renovations at 61 St and renovations at 69 St and 52 St begun, Manhattan Bound Trains now use the express track between 74 St-Broadway and Queensboro Plaza, and temporary platforms have been installed at 46 St, 40 St and 33 St. This means that the express track has been used west of 74 St-Broadway for the first time since 2023. So if they make significant progress on everything, we could see regular (7) Line service in the next year or two perhaps. But for now, I hope you guys like this midday ride as the volume of Mets fans flooded the line.
