Programme evaluation & review technique ( PERT) | Basics of PERT

This video describes the PERT-Project Evaluation and Review Technique in project management. CPM and PERT are two different techniques but, PERT uses a probabilistic approach, which requires a duration frequency distribution for each activity. In most cases, such distributions are unknown or unavailable. Because of this, PERT requires the user to set three durations that constitute the practical range of the duration for each activity.
