Family continue to mourn the loss of three teens who died just before Christmas Eve in a suspected DUI car crash in San Joaquin County. As a memorial sits at Maria Hortencia Gomez’s home, she’s grateful for the love and support she’s received. Gomez is the mother of 16-year-old Giselle Herrera who died from her injuries in the crash. “No accident, no tragedy ever prepares you for something like this,” said Gomez. “I still feel like it’s not real, and that she’s coming home or that they made a mistake.”
