In this animated lecture, I will teach you about wave motion, transverse waves and longitudinal waves. Also, I will teach you about how the particles of the medium execute simple harmonic motion during wave motion.
When a medium is disturbed such that the particles of medium undergo oscillatory motion produce waves. Waves may be either mechanical or electromagnetic waves. Mechanical waves are further divided into transverse waves and longitudinal waves.
