Montha Cyclone. The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has predicted that the depression formed in the Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm in the next 24 hours. It is likely to intensify into a severe cyclonic storm and cross the coast near Kakinada. It has warned that very heavy rains are likely to occur in several districts of Telangana on October 28 and 29. It said that heavy rains are likely to occur in Khammam, Suryapet, Nalgonda, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Mulugu, Bhupalpally, Peddapalli, Mancherial, Kumurambheem Asifabad and Warangal districts.
బంగాళాఖాతంలో ఏర్పడిన వాయుగుండం మరో 24 గంటల్లో తుఫాన్ గా మారే అవకాశం ఉందని హైదరాబాద్ వాతావరణ శాఖ అంచనా వేసింది. ఇది తీవ్ర తుఫాన్ గా మారి కాకినాడ సమీపంలో తీరం దాటే అవకాశం ఉందని పేర్కొంది. అక్టోబర్ 28, 29 తేదీల్లో తెలంగాణలోని పలు జిల్లాల్లో అతి భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని హెచ్చరించింది. ముఖ్యంగా ఖమ్మం, సూర్యాపేట, నల్గొండ, భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం, మహబూబాబాద్, ములుగు, భూపాలపల్లి, పెద్దపల్లి, మంచిర్యాల, కుమురంభీం ఆసిఫాబాద్, వరంగల్ జిల్లాల్లో భారీ వర్షాలు కురిసే అవకాశం ఉందని తెలిపింది.
