My name is Eric and I recently purchased National Cycle's Street Shield EX to install on my Suzuki Volusia Intruder VL-800. I purchased it from Amazon for about $140. This windshield received rave reviews from most users and the price certainly was right.

Along with the great reviews for the shield itself, most reviewers commented that the instructions were HORRIBLE. And, when I opened the box and started reading them, I knew they were right.

I searched around for a video of the installation of the windshield and couldn't find any. SO, I asked my buddy Tony to come over on a Saturday to help me install the shield and capture our learning experience on video so that other folks out there would NOT have to go through the pain of reading VERY POORLY WRITTEN installation instructions like we did.

Motorcyclists like to hang out with each other, ride together, wave at each other on the road...so this is our small gift back to the community that we love so much.

We honestly hope you locate this video and watch it and that it helps ease the pain of the install. If you are a gear head, I'm sure you can just look at the pieces in the box and just put them where they go - no need for ANY instructions. However, normal people like Tony and I need clear instructions and installation videos to help us decrease the time and frustration of installing something we've never installed before.

This windshield is a UNIVERSAL windshield - it fits probably on just about any bike out there. So, some adjustments are necessary as you'll see in this video. They key thing is just to see how the pieces fit together and where they are located on the forks and handlebars - even just a few pictures of the install would have helped save time.

Your bike might be very different than mine - that's ok. After spending 11min watching this video - it will save you hours - well, at least an hour of time trying to figure things out for yourself.
