If you know anything about the Mazdaspeed3 then you most likely know that the rear motor mount is very weak. The stock mount from the factory has a flimsy design and does a lousy job of keeping the motor from thrashing around in the engine bay. Upgrading to a more solid mount will not only allow the engine to become more stable but it will also improve drive-ability, shifting and power delivery to the wheels.
We chose the Corksport Race mount for this video because we did not want to suffer from excessive vibration and noise. Based on experience the Corksport mounts provides the most comfortable ride while maintaining a very solid grip on engine movement. For those looking for a more aggressive mount you should check out James Barone Racing.
