How to Cook Smoked Chicken Wings in a Kamado Smoker | Easy BBQ Recipe
In this video, I’ll show you how to cook mouth-watering smoked chicken wings using a Kamado-style smoker. This method produces juicy, flavorful wings with a slight crisp on the outside, all while keeping the meat tender and moist.
Here’s how you make them:
Start by removing the chicken wings from the packet and laying them out on a board.
Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture—this helps the seasoning stick better.
Generously season your wings with your favorite BBQ rub (I used a delicious honey BBQ rub for extra flavor).
Next, fire up the charcoal for your Kamado smoker and let it heat up to around 200°C (392°F).
Lay the wings on the cooking grate, ensuring they’re not placed directly over the heat to avoid burning.
Check the wings every 15 minutes, turning them as needed to ensure even cooking.
After about 45 minutes, they should be done. Feel free to cook them longer if you prefer a crispier skin.
Finally, enjoy the juicy, tender, and crispy wings—these are sure to be a hit at any BBQ!
Pro Tips:
Keep an eye on the temperature of your smoker to maintain consistent heat.
Don't overcrowd the wings to ensure proper airflow and even cooking.
If you love smoked wings, this recipe will quickly become a favorite. Let me know how yours turn out in the comments!
