After LBD commands Wukong to hurt Macaque, he resists at first, but Macaque's persistent convincing finally breaks him. Reluctantly, Wukong obeys, but intentionally harming someone he loves leaves him deeply scarred. With each act of violence, he dissociates further, slowly spiraling into a complete breakdown. When Macaque is beaten so badly he can no longer stand, LBD expresses disappointment in his weakness. She departs with a cutting remark, hoping they’ve at least learned their lesson. Once she’s gone, Wukong crumbles entirely, breaking down as guilt consumes him. Mac, despite his injuries, tries to console Wukong and pull him from his spiral, but his wounds are too severe. He succumbs to unconsciousness, leaving the animatic to end with a devastated Wukong clutching an unconscious Macaque tightly in his arms, tears streaming down his face.
