Fastest expanding black hole found in the universe, devouring a sun every day
The fastest expanding black hole has been found in space. It is making one sun its food every day. It is the brightest object in the universe. Its center is 7 light years wide. It can accommodate 200 to 300 crore suns. The temperature of its center is 10 thousand degrees Celsius.
Astronomers have found the fastest expanding black hole in the universe. It is spreading so fast that it is devouring one sun every day. It is very hungry. It is swallowing all the planets, galaxies, suns and stars found around it. Therefore it has become the brightest object in the universe.
Recently a research paper about this black hole has been published in the Nature Astronomy journal. Scientists from the Australian National University (ANU) first observed it. These scientists saw this bright quasar through the telescope installed at Siding Spring Observatory.
ANU scientist Christian Wolff said that quasars shine by taking energy from black holes. Scientists were searching for the brightest objects in space. For this he took the help of 2.3 meter telescope. Then it was seen how many black holes are there in these objects. After this he went to the Very Large Telescope of the European Southern Observatory.
The purpose of going there was to confirm my discovery. The light emanating from this quasar is reaching the Earth in 120 crore years. But Christian says that this black hole is actually expanding rapidly. It is currently 200 crore light years away from Earth. Its weight is 170 crore times more than our sun.
Big enough to accommodate 200 or 300 crore suns
Sometimes black holes are so big that they can accommodate 200 or 300 crore suns. There are many black holes in the universe but their appetite is less. They expel or swallow less substances. Emits less heat and light. Are less shiny. But this black hole is huge, shiny, hot and full of light.
The universe also absorbs 20 percent of the light.
Christian Wolff and his team also discovered a similar black hole in 2022. But this one is many times bigger, more terrifying and hungrier than that. There are dust clouds in our galaxy i.e. the Milky Way. That means clouds full of dust. They absorb the light of the universe. They absorb at least 20 percent of the light of the universe.
The center of this black hole is 7 lakh light years wide
Even after so much light is lost in the universe, many luminous things remain. This magnetic storm is going on inside the giant black hole. This storm is 7 light years wide. Its temperature is around 10 thousand degrees Celsius. Christian said that our universe is in adolescence. There will be many changes in its body right now.
