This srilankan malayalam vlog covers travel tips to visit Srilanka in malayalam & explains how to plan Srilankan trip from Kerala & India & about various travel options to Srilanka.India & Srilanka doesn't share land border&we can't reach Srilanka by road.Srilanka is the nearest country to Kerala but there are no means to reach Srilanka by road.Only travel option is by flight & we get cheap flight tickets to Srilanka from Madurai airport than from kerala.Reaching Madurai airport from kerala by train &getting on board to Colombo airport is a budget travel option.Earlier,Visa was free for Indians to visit Srilanka, but now the policy was changed.Indians had to apply online for e visa or ETA or Electronic travel authorization.Currency there is Srilankan rupee & it's better to exchange money before the trip or after reaching there.Using Public transport in Srilanka like bus, tuktuk& train services is good & Pick me App is helpful in connecting Tuktuks.
My Srilankan journey was through Central & Southern Srilanka& was 5 days trip.After reaching airport, i visited Negambo town, harbour,& beach & moved to Sigiriya Lion rock, believed to be King Ravana's Palace or Ravana fort.Then i had trekking to Pidurangala Rock.Dambulla Golden & Royal Cave temple, kandy town,Lake&Buddha tooth temple,were visited& had exciting train journey from Kandy to Ella.It's Asia's most beautiful train trip & is one of World's 15 most beautiful train journeys.After visiting Ella Nine Arch bridge, Ravana waterfalls, Mirissa,Weligama,Midhighama, Galle, Unawatuna, Hikkaduwa, Bentota & other southern beaches,reached Colombo.Red Mosque, Pettah&Floating market, Galle face green, Crow island beach are attractions in Colombo.For my 5 day Srilankan trip , I paid 17k Indian rupees& was successful in my solo budget trip.In this video, i am summarizing my Srilankan travel experience & is giving budget travel tips to Srilanka.
