Counting macros is all the rage right now eat whatever you want and lose weight right not true macros is very difficult to figure out it's a lot of logging and tracking and by the end of the day sometimes that you're completely off generally I find that it's easier to teach people to count portions if you eat the proper portions throughout the day your Macros will be on track the macros I recommend generally added to be about 35 carbohydrates 35 protein and 40% fat that's for the boosting 5 4 3 2 1 diet for buffing it's more like 30% carbohydrate 40% protein and 30% fat now a lot of bodybuilding type people recommend lower fat intake I think you're fat needs to be at least 30% I would rather see you eat more fat versus more carbs I believe that doesn't make you fat it's excess glucose and not getting enough protein and not doing proper workouts that make you fat all right now this key thing to keep in mind is net carbs vs. Total carbs a lot of tracking programs will count fiber in your carbohydrates so if the farmers counted your carbohydrate intake is going to look off make sure you can recalculate this with net carbs
