On the 3rd January 2026, we made a trip to Kirkby Stephen on the Settle and Carlisle Line to film some of the WCML diverts that were operating whilst Clifton Bridge is replaced.
We see a total of 3 diverted services during our visit with a total of 6 Class 805s operating between Crewe and Carlisle via the S&C.
We also see some Northern services between Carlisle and Leeds whilst waiting in the cold Winter sunshine.
