United States US President Donald Trump took a drive along the race course of the Daytona International Speedway on February 16 just before the Daytona 500. Trump began his appearance with his granddaughter and greeting race car drivers on the track. Trump was greeted with cheers as his motorcade drove slowly around the track followed by a procession of race cars. The start of the race was paused due to rain. The Daytona 500 is a 500 mile (805 kilometers)-long NASCAR Cup Series motor race held annually at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
