lThis is a ride on BC Transit 9702, a 1996-built New Flyer D40LF allocated to Victoria Regional Transit System, as part of the provincial contingency fleet. In this video, 9702 is running a route 27 "Gordon Head" from Downtown Victoria. We board at Douglas & Fort and ride around Gordon Head and disembark at Shelbourne and McKenzie, as the bus heads back into Victoria as a 27 "Downtown". Filmed in the afternoon on September 10th, 2019.
9702 was originally allocated to Kamloops Transit System, and is equipped with a Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine and Voith D863.3 transmission.
