http://www.euronews.net/ Spanish police have arrested a man convicted over the assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic. Vladimir Milisavljevic was detained along with two other men in a restaurant in Valencia. Djindjic was shot dead by a sniper outside government buildings in Belgrade in 2003.
Milisavljevic was convicted in his absence and sentenced to 35 years five years ago. He had been on the run since. He was among a dozen former paramilitaries and underworld figures given jail terms for their roles in the killing. Several of those are still at large.
