'Metal Shred Model' Roland GR-55 Guitar Synth Building Custom Multi Function Patches

This video is the third Greg Lebro in a series the will hopefully assist newer Roland GR-55 users to develop a strategy for writing customized multi function patches to use in live situations. The GR-55 is an amazingly powerful tool but it is not very intuitive.There is a serious learning curve... study, patience and perseverance are required. These videos may help shorten your initial frustration. There are often more than one path to achieve the desired results on a GR-55 but often, those paths cannot cross or glitches will result. I have found that developing consistent patch layouts results in less confusion under the pressure of a gig, less to remember! I try to simulate the way my pre-synth rig worked. This is just one approach, there are others out there, find one that works best for you.
