DORA Community Discussion - Planning the 2025 DORA Survey

Derek DeBellis provided an update on the 2025 DORA report, detailing its research methodology. This process involves identifying key outcomes, relevant practices, and potential confounding factors, followed by question design, testing, survey launch, and data analysis. A significant new element is the inclusion of qualitative research, spearheaded by Dr. Kevin Storer. Derek also acknowledged potential research pitfalls, such as incorrect goals, impractical practices, poor measurement, and significant confounds.
