講堂　「カンボジア王国　ノロドム・シアヌーク国王陛下　国際佛教記念ホール」

カンボジア王国の敬虔なる仏教徒ノロドム・シアヌーク国王陛下の御名を冠した講堂。
高さ33.4m、幅40m、奥行136.8m、2000名収容、ロイヤルボックス八間を備えています。天井の大シャンデリアは直径18mで八弁の蓮の花をデザインしています。
玄関ホール正面の釈尊と五比丘の石仏は、中国工芸美術大師（人間国宝）She Guo Ping仏師制作。天竺（インド）サルナートの地における釈尊初転法輪（仏陀と成られた後、初めての御説法）の情景を刻んでいます。全世界の仏教最高指導者が、本講堂において一堂に会し、共に歩むことにより、初転法輪に始まり天竺の地から世界へ拡がった仏教が、再び一つとなって、全世界に興隆することを願う心が込められています。

International Buddhist Conference Hall in Honor of H.M. King Norodom Sihanouk

This is the conference hall in honor of H.M. King Norodom Sihanouk, the very religious Buddhist and former King of Cambodia. It is 33.4 meters high, 40 meters wide, and 136.8 meters long. Its main hall has eight royal boxes and its seating capacity is 2,000.
The stone statues of Lord Buddha with his five disciples in the entrance hall are the works by Mr. She Guo Ping, a living national treasure of China, which depict a scene of his First Sermon at Sarnath, India. When the world supreme Buddhist leaders assemble in this hall and advance together, Buddhism that began from the First Sermon in India and diffused to other parts of the world will reunite as one, and spread and flourish throughout the entire world. This earnest wish and prayer are put into these statues.

佛教之王堂は佛法に基づいて建­­立され
建物全ての部位に、仏縁を結ぶ教えが込められています。

伽藍工事全体、およそ7年間で10,524点の彫刻、450,173点を超える彫金が製作されました。

It is the first construction of an authentic full-scale Buddhist temple since the erection of the main temple of Obakushu Buddhist Sect in 1661.A total of roughly 3.5 million people joined forces to construct the Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism and completed the entire temple in only seven years without even a single accident.The Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism, in its vast precincts of over 180 hectares, has the Front Gate, the North Gate, the South Gate, the Main Gate, the Washstand, the Ksitigarbha Hall, the Prince Shotoku Hall, the Five-story Pagoda, the North Bell Tower, the South Bell Tower, the Main Halls including the Amida Hall and the Sakyamuni Hall and the Avalokitesvara Hall, the Sutra Hall, the Merit-transference Hall, the Okunoin Hall, the International Buddhist Conference Hall, the Sangha Hall, and the Main Building. All the buildings are decorated with 10,524 sculptures and statues and more than 450,173 metal carvings.
