How to Frame a Canvas With a Floater Frame

FLOATER FRAMES
Ampersand floater frames make it easy to frame a canvas and they have a professional look. Floater frames are available in a variety of sizes and in two different depths. Ampersand offer two depths 7/8" and 1-1/2". There's black, white, and natural and they're available with thin or bold face. The frame that I used in the video has the thin face.

WIRE CUTTERS
As I said in the video, cutting picture hanging wire with scissors isn't a good idea because the wire might damage the blades. Wire cutters are better suited for the job and will make it easier too.

MANUAL HAND DRILL
This drill is approximately 6.9” long so it would make it easier to drill the holes in smaller frames.

STRECHED CANVAS
Blick offers an affordable canvas that are also of good quality. The canvas is stapled on the back and I like the texture of the canvas.
