Fixing LENS DISTORTIONS in photos using GIMP - the essentials!

Especially wide angle lenses can produce a lot of distortions. In this video I'm showing you how to get rid of lens distortions using GIMP. I'm showing you a photo that has barrel distortion and problems with vertical and horizontal lines (slanted lines). I'm using an indoor photo (of a kitchen) to demonstrate how to make an ugly photo with barrel effects and slanted lines nice again. For this I'm using "Lens Distortion" and "3D Transform" functions of GIMP to fix the photo. I'm showing all of the steps I take and explain why I'm using those particular GIMP settings to fix the photo.
