When Tuggle went undrafted in the 1987 NFL draft the Atlanta Falcons pick him up. In Tuggle's 14 career years, he recorded 1,809 tackles (164 assisted), 5× Pro Bowl (1992, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1998), Atlanta Falcons Ring of Honor & Atlanta Falcons NO. 58 Retired. He is considered to be one of the greates Linebackers to go un noticed in the NFL because his team constantly having losing records.
