This one really shook me… A neighbor reached out about an elderly couple whose yard had become extremely overgrown. Nobody nearby had the equipment to help, so I stopped by. When I knocked, no one answered. I came back later—still nothing. The lights were on, the entrances were blocked, and my heart sank.

It brought me back to a tough time with my mom, when she stopped answering her phone and I later found out she had passed. That same feeling hit me all over again. I didn’t know what to do… and then the unexpected happened.

🙏 The neighbors stopped by, and eventually the owners woke up. Not only did they wake up—they actually came out and helped! This story had several twists and turns, but I’m grateful I was able to step in and help this community.
