Ever feel like your solos sound stiff, uninspired, and you second guess every note? In this lesson, I’ll show you a simple limitation exercise that helps you make more out of less.
We’ll use a one-octave diagonal major pentatonic over an E major backing track, then I’ll show you how to lock into the groove (before you “blast into soloing”) using different rhythm divisions. After that, we’ll add five easy embellishments like slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs, bends, and musical vibrato, plus one big secret: leave space so your phrases actually land. 🎸
